Diagoro vs Goliath is a 1972 kaiju movie by Tsuburaya Productions. The people behind ultraman. Also headed by Eiji Tusburaya effect wizard and godzilla effect head for most of the early movies. The plot of the movie fallows Daigoro a petty ugly monster that was orphan when the military killed his mother. The movie for the 40/60 minutes focuses on the humans and diagoro with not much happing. There are two pretty mediocre fights in this movie. The effect are cool and some make me wonder how they did it but there could have been more. You realy cant care about the humans or diagoro in this movie even f the main focus is on the humans and wacky "comedy". However there is a kaiju sized toilet in this movie and we get to see people riding a kaiju. I cant relay recommend this film. Its not bad just meh, with interesting effects and a few kinda funny bits that save it form begging a turd. So if your a fan of 70s kaiju movies then see it just for the effects. If not pass there are way better kaiju movies form this era.
4/10
Not truly awful but not grate with some pacing issues. The sad thing is you can tel theres love in this just doesn't have much to flit it form its extreme tiresomeness.

Godzilla 2014 aka what should have been called mutos but with godzilla in it. I came in this movie expcting some thing realy realy bad and its not as bad as I was worried to be but its nor super speical. The acting and effect are okay, it felt more like a distare movie then a godzilla movie and there some south outs to godzilla movies of the past. Now for the porblems 1. I have is how boring ford I am invincible body 2. the desong of mutos and godzilla are bad and they just arent fun 3. the movie feels more like a disater flick 4. They shorud godzilla alot in smoke and or water its like they knew the desings were bad. 5. godzillas new origen is dumb 6. They tend to cut in the middle of the fights for stupod human stuff i didnt care about. Its liek seing a porn and having all the sex cut with sopa operas. The second half of the movie is way better then first half due to godzilla geting more screen time. I could bitch about some of the minor dumb shit but its minor scale stupidty. Over all its not as a awfull train werck. But its not a good godzilla movie either. Its mediroce. It is meh. Its okay at best.
6/10

Days of Future Past is obscenely good.I didnt like First Class and this fixes basically every problem i has with it. Tighter cast, way way tighter plot, funnier jokes/references. and best of all the gayest xavier magneto moments pictured since Patrick Stewards twitter.

moives i have wathcted lately:
HTTYD 2: sort of a stretched-out version of movie 1, mostly feeling less novel because it's a sequel. logical issues arose around anything the villain did. still fun enough tho, except please don't see this on father's day
the monument men: pretty much half star power, half nostalgia for the WWII era, a decent treatise about the importance of art, but just an 'ok' film technically.
hercules 2014 without the rock: don't watch it pls, the only thing it didn't get wrong was some fight choreography, and even that was subject to Wanted-style slo-mo
grudge match: pretty much the best movie you can get aping stallone/de niro and their respective boxing movies.

A Boy and His Dog: Quite possibly the best post-apocalyptic movie to date, would be my favorite work of post-apocalyptic fiction were it not for New Vegas. Strong characters, good writing, good story.
22 Jump Street: Eh. A few good gags, but not much made me really laugh. I noticed that the plot was almost entirely parallel to the first one in weirdly specific ways, namely the pretend-blowjob-to-hide-from-drug-dealers thing.
Jacob's Ladder (rewatched): Lots of really nice and creepy effects, reveals, plot points, etc. Didn't like the ending too much, but I don't know how it could really be improved. Just as good as I remember, ending notwithstanding.

A boy and his dog is silly because of that twist ending. Yeah, there's a fair amount of silly stuff in the movie (and the short story but this is the movie review topic). The one that keeps jumping to mind for me is the perpetually-smiling clown-faced strangling robot, Michael.

Edge of Tomorrow: this rewive comes from someone who did not read 'all you need is kill', i actually 100% forgot about that until the credits
good moive in all aspekts. I sort of went in feeling like 'how would you do a serious version of the groundhog day issue' and it delivered the dark humor i hoped for. Also action, some submessages and overt messages are good, mostly consistent logically, and even acting is decent.
The aliens are something else, they're crazy whirling metal death and actually scary.
As for the ending thing that i just looked up right now: the movie did a good job hinting at several types of endings, even up to the very end, but they went with something satisfying.

Gaurdains of the galaxy is a perty darn good sumer block buster that feels like a 80s genre movie. Its face paced well writen and all the characters are charming the only real porblems a re a few eye rolling moments and the Rohan the kree inquisitor is over shadow as a villian buy Thanos. This is probaly the best blockbuster I seen in a good while. Also stay after the cerdits even f it was just a joke i cant belvie marvel and disney actualy went thourght it. I was the only one claping at this moment but yeah awesome.
8/10

Finally saw red line and damn it was garte. Its a feast for the eyes, the amation is a sight to be hold. All the alien desings in the backgorund were cool. Its face pasted insten action likes you super exicted for every damned bit of it. One hell of a ride. All the minor charaters are fun too so it makes every thing likeable. also this happens The ending left me on the edge of my seat, porably the best animated film i seen in a long while 9/10 sooo good. See it now.
