Destoroyah is going to be released soon! Still worried about the wings, guess we'll see how it goes;

The packaging of the wings looks pretty good, at least; it seems like there will be less strain on them than on Ghidorah's, which were folded back.

Speaking of which, my King Ghidorah is still doing fine. But then I've mostly had it sitting in my desk where it hasn't been touched except to re-adjust the heads. I'm hoping to get some spiffy display case or desk or something in the near future.

Mine is fine too. Thankfully, even if a wing hinge should break, it is possible to glue it back into place without sacrificing articulation.
Ghidorah figures seem to have a history of weak wing hinges. It's probably just the design itself.

Yeah, that's what the consensus has been: design flaw.
I'd like to buy some of the earlier releases I don't have yet,but I don't got teh money. Probably won't be owning a Destoroyah for quite a while, which is a shame because it's easily one of my favorite Godzilla villains.

Well, if you're on a budget the best prices I've seen for Monsterarts are on Amazon.

That's where I've been buying mine from. Even then roughly $60 per figure is a hard sell. Not to mention $150 Destoroyah!

True, the cost of these figures does add up pretty fast.
Quite a big difference from when I used to buy Trendmaster Godzilla figures as a kid.

Oh man, I LOVED the Trendmasters Godzilla figures. I still have the ones I got when I was a lad.
They had such an amazing shelf presence back in the day.

I've never really been one for buying figures but these always look really cool.

A house made out of these works of art would be a pretty rockin' pad, I think.

A house made out of these works of art would be a pretty rockin' pad, I think. I would keep Ghidorah figures out of the blueprints though!

mmm armpit fetish in the last pic
Yeah as someone who's barely even a casual fan of Godzilla i'm perfectly fine with my rather stiff Godzilla one. The others are sort of a near-insurmountable barrier considering that godzilla itself altogether was like $80.
