Pacific Rim is a wonderful orgy of mecha and kaiju and del toro and if you dont like it youre legitimately an alien being bent on the annihilation of all happyness.

The World's End was excellent, better than Hot Fuzz but not quite Shaun of the dead, highly reccomended

Cloud Atlas is a intersting movie were many stories meet with the central theme reincarnation were it jumps around a couple stories. Its more of a non traditional narrative uses reincarnation to basically explains most of the inter workings of polt. The main problems are the god awful pacing (its feels to damn long its space thunder kids level pacing be warned.) , the fact that its kinda weird seeing actors play different races, I get there the same people (well different version of the same person) Its still kinda puts you of the plot. Also this movie like many post matrix weschoasika's (i cant spell) movie feel like philosophy 101 and qutampsyhic 101 and it relay just feels self important and drags out of what could have been a cool non traditional narrative.

Only God Forgives is a literal nightmare of a movie. It's dark, violent, stylistic, and has a touch of surrealness that is almost Lynchian. While the plot is a bit lacking, it's nowhere near enough to justify the awful reviews it's been getting. A lot of critics are saying the characters are "non-people" but I think it's more of the fact that they're all awful people, which makes it fitting that the movie is about their retribution. There are many moments of symbolism, which only adds to the feeling that you're watching a nightmare someone else had. Cliff Martinez's score is fantastic.
Is it as good as Drive? Not really. Is it worth seeing? Absolutely.

So the Evil Dead remake inst complete ass, just a completely serviceable boring horror movie about demons that has some sam raimi style cinematography and way too much backstory for everyone involved..... till the end, where it goes complete bullshit "I chose option C!" and uuuughhhhh fuck that shit so hard.

Just got back from a drive-in double feature.
The Wolverine is very okay. Kind of mediocre, but Days of Future Past or whatever is looking pretty good. X-men movies are better with X-men, not just Wolverine.
R.I.P.D. is absolute shit. Please don't see it. It may be the actual worst film I've seen this year.

Teken blood vengeance is a awful, awful, awful film. Its dailog sucks, the plot sucks, the acting sucks and the cgi borders n creepy... Yet I love this train wreck of a film its so wonderfully stupid, there inst a hit of irony to be had every single thing in this movie is taken super seriously. I like to thank who ever made this glory turd because it had me laughing at the share wonderfully brand of dumb this movie oozes. The last third minutes of this are basically might be the most over top wondrously uniorincly stupid fight scene put to film in a very long while. Teken blood vengeance is like if some one made a lucha jack movie and didn't realizes lucha jack was ment to be a tounge and check parody. So yeah its a turd but it made me laugh petty hard at the end.
Teken blood vengeance gets 2.1/10 mainly for just how funny it is.

just watched pasific rim. really enjoyed it,they managed to make me tear up halfway through the pre-title drop(and some other places) and spent a lot of the movie trying not to giggle like a child at the fights, but it shared a problem with the predators from AvP and the gimicy use of the weapons on GD was a bit eh, But I walked in to the cinema to see a movie made by del toro with Ron Perlman about giant robots fighting giant monsters and I got that.
was going to say its a 4.9/5 but I stayed after the first credists so its a 6/5.
allso my favorite was probably roughback?(the gorilla one) and my least favorite is still the crocodile, but it had the coolest death of them all.

I watched The Wolverine, half the movie is like "LOOK HOW WEIRD JAPAN IS" and the other half is people talking to each other. It's the least X-men feeling X-men movie of all time, which could be a good or bad thing. It certainly wasn't as horrible as I heard it would be.
I also watched Star Trek Into Darkness, which is basically the second original Star Trek movie, in a way. There's so many shoutouts it's unreal. It's quite a gambit-filled plot with Benedict Cumberbatch chewing scenery, so it's 'smart', but it's not really deep since it moves fast enough that you don't think about the ramifications that are bought up.
