THE OMEGA VIRUS  The Omega Virus was released in 1992 by Milton Bradley.  You play as a space soldier from one of four countries sent to destroy a virus that has taken over an orbital weapons platform that was meant to blast meteors, but now has its weapons turned on earth!  The instructions are in comic book form.  Though most of the pages are just text. :/  You start out with the entire space station open to your search for the room containing the virus. You can either help the other players or blast them with your laser to send them back to their starting spot so that you can take over the station for your own country.  To destroy the virus you need to gather equipment cards and gather weapons as the game verbally taunts you in a computer voice.  As the timer runs down, the virus closes off sections of the game board, both limiting your ability to gather weapons and narrowing down your search for the virus.    PS Milton Bradley had the rights to the Robotix toy line at the time and they totally used the pilot figure designs from that line to make the game pieces. |

Motherfucking. Call of Cthulhu. Great pen and paper game that encourages puzzle-solving and strategy over levelling up and raw power. Any magic you cast usually has an immediate sanity-based consequence, the skill system only allows you to improve things that you actually use. Fyeahstorybasedgameplay

I'm trying to decide if running a pen and paper game on these here forum places would be a horrible idea. Think anyone would want in on a comparatively short, forum-based call of cthulhu campaign?
