mmm imagenarry fanwnak thread
I thought it'd be cool if there was a game like Kaiju Combat, but with absolute legal freedom; just one huge brawl-fest of giant Japanese monsters and robots. Everything from Godzilla, Gamera, Ultraman, Sentai/Power Rangers, and even popular anime characters like Zeta Gundam and Eva 01.

They did that and it was called Dino Crisis.
I sort of imagined a game that would have you be a toy that comes alive when people are not around.
Then I realized I was describing Chibi Robo. Though there's plenty of space to make it slightly more disturbing, but then I realized I was describing this one Dreamcast game where the toy kills its owner, goes to hell with its kid, and faces a giant Sonic expy.

Had a rather silly idea for a Cthulhu Mythos themed Yume Nikki fangame done in the style of the Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath, with Randolph Carter as the protagonist. Maybe instead of effects there could be various Mythos related spells, such as transforming into a shoggoth to slip into an inaccessible area, or a psychedelic Colour Out of Space spell as an analogue to the neon effect. More aggressive Mythos beasts such as Star-Spawn and Gugs could be chasers, and being caught by one of them would result in waking up in Arkham Asylum.

Had an idea for a game where you play as a member of a unit called HUES (Hazardous/Unknown Environment Scouts) which works for some sort of secret government organization. Your job as a member of HUES (your codename is Hughes) is to scout out newly discovered environments. The game would play sort of like Megaman, in which there are nine levels and in each one you get an ability/upgrade (It would also have the same graphics style probably). After you beat the nine levels a tenth mega/final level unlocks that you have to use all your abilities to beat. It would be structured as if each level is a different place that Hughes has to investigate and send info about back to his base or whatever. There would be sort of an emphasis on exploration, and there would be things like audio logs and interesting objects that reveal history about the level. One of the ideas I had for a level was a haunted art gallery; another was a power plant infested by bizarre creatures that might be mutated or might be aliens. There would also be some that aren't scary, just a little weird.
