the game's probably not promoting it though, more likely the devs just put a creepy thing in to be cool. ascend and ascension are words you might use just to sound cool/significant

The secret wasn't discovered for like 2 years and the developer hasn't replied to anyone
Some people think that sending in your personal info will actually make a thing happen, but RPG maker doesnt have that capability

that doesnt really imply that there's anything more to it than a cool easter egg. if i was a game dev being mysterious i wouldn't reply either

it would be cool if they somehow hacked rpg maker so that it did send the personal details and a bunch of internet people got killed/kidnapped by insane cult members
