The thread for subtle(and not so subtle) messages at the core of movies!
One of my favorites is "The Hitcher" the 1986 movie not the 2000 whatever remake of bullshit. On the VERY VERY VERY VERY surface( it is not even CLOSE to subtle) its just a movie about a crazy roadside murderer trying to get a kid to kill him, but everything has this GLORIOUSLY FREAKY air of homoeroticism that makes it clear, its not actually a murder movie, its about a hitchhiker turning a young boy down the dark forbidden path of TEH GEY. Its incredibly offensive and i ADORE IT.
