Recently i been playing castlevanina portrait of ruin again and it made me reaslie a lot about what i like and dislike about metroidvania games. I mainly love that the expolrtion aspects, the monster and just how geting lost can be fun in thess types of games. Even f they do lazy paste the map espicaly in por and ooe, I always come back for the monster so why not have a topic about monsters from video games. iBelow are what i considerd pors best monster desings.  death mask  lerijae  zombie dragon  moldy corpse  Moth man ( this needs to be a toy)  Dagon |

I like Dagon being half a frog because it's weird and fuck you original Dagon descriptions.

Hes porably my favorite boss desing form that game. I love alot of the booses from the ds and gba casltevanias even if iga and konami recycled some of them. Like the zombie dragon wasa boos in cricle of the moon but got down graded to a normal mosnter in por. one of my favorite little things in dawan of sowwrw was figureng out how to get big foots soul.  |

 This tutrle boos form Sin and punishment star successor always reminded me of gamera. Kinda wish there was more quailty screen shots of the bosses online beacuse there some cool ones in there. |

Recntly I have beaten a link bewteen world and it wasa fun game. Dharkstare happenes to be my favorite boss desing.   Kunckle master comes in at a close second. |

Recently i been playing hybrid heaven for the n64 a weird little game not just because its a rpg for the n64 but because of its battle system wich works sorta likea hybrid of wrestling match, 1-1 fighter and semi trun based fighter. Basically you have two bars your power and stamina every attack and you can move freely.  This is my favorite of the bio weapons aka the monsters in this game he looks like meat and will pile drive you if get close eough to you him for him to grab you. So huzza for cuboid meat monster man. |

 Doofy/creepy dinosaur from MonColle Knights.  The Earth Dragon, one of the 4 elemental dragons and sort of Kaiju-ish.  The Ogopogo, looks pretty awesome.  Rasec Wizzlbang Wereshark.  Jormungandr (most powerful Earth monster)  Kraken  Tunnelers  Water Dragon  Vermillion Fungus  White Yeti  Final Boss: Curse Kaiser Phoenix  Leprechaun (  )  Crimson Queen  Giant Sandworm  Emperor Earth Dragon, one of the "rare" monsters that can only be gotten through trading. |

Got my pc contorler wroking again so besides terangima I played monster in my pocket a sloid if genric konami platfromer. The best thing bout this game is you can play as either a pocket sized vampire or frakenstines monster.  The fisrt boss looks like one of the home stuck trolls. Right before the second boss the game gets kina cheap with this water platfroming section.  But whats not to love about a octpus naked mole rat hybrid. |

Receently tried out frakenstine the monster returns for the nes. The game is kinda sub par and the monster are cool. Here are 2 of the games bosses. The games bosess tuant or say some thing to the player before you fight them wich is cool.  The demon horse looks like two sprites poorly meranged together.  The water dargon here is a optional bosses. As you can see he is beating me in this screen shot. |

Dark Souls has some cool monsters. Like Pinwheel, a necromancer who stole power from death  Or Gaping Dragon, a gluttonous dragon who turned into a giant mouth with wings  |
