I think it's because MC Ride's vocals aren't really that prominent on this new album, whereas he's always in the forefront in the others, especially No Love Deep Web which he utterly dominates.

i talked about it in the chat thing a while ago but you electronic listening dudes should check out the Legowelt side project albums Pacific Northwest Sasquatch Research and UFO Onderzoek 1983. basically they're soundtracks to films that don't exist evoking a specific sense of place. they also have really cool track titles like "Something Moved in the Treeline" and "Anathema: Curse of the paranormal SS". pro listening
