I have never heard of this game so I'm trying to imagine what the original is like from all these pics. It's sort of fun. Needless to say I like all the pictures you've posted here.

Chapter 4

MAZE

The maze level was originally easy, but in this hack it's been modified to be more difficult- thus I went back and got some more lives.





You play as Fozzie Bear and wander around a maze while avoiding....things, and trying to collect 3 presents. There are (too)many stages to this level, I believe the number is around 30. The hack contains all of these.



The maze layouts are still the same, though the ice cream sundaes have been replaced with large hands. Fozzie has been given the ability to jump, which is needed to cross the newly added bottomless pits.



Once you get to the purple background, snakes appear. They do the same thing as the smaller enemies, but they're harder to avoid. Also to note, if one of the enemies falls into a pit, they die and are replaced within a few seconds.



The last handful of stages have a red background, and the little walkers have been replaced by green, eyeless Fozzies. These move quicker than the other enemies. Like the space level it's hard to avoid everything that comes after you at once, so losing some health is inevitable.

There is also a single moving hand that moves freely along the board without constant pacing like the other enemies. It's in the lower right, sitting out of line with the others.



The final stage has 4 "cages". 3 of which contain greyed out versions of Kermit, Gonzo, and Animal. The last is empty.






When Fozzie is moved into place like the other Muppets, he loses his color and the moving hand from earlier arrives to seal him in.

This is getting very omunis. Aslo the cylon/termatior look ot the green snake wrom things head makes them look cyberntic in nature.

Chapter 5

CAVE[/u]


I'm not sure why it's called "Cave", as it seems more like a dungeon, but whatever. It's the most straightforward of the 5 levels, just have to keep moving right while avoiding everything. Easier said than done, of course.



Instead of a feather, Kermit now wields a (rather unimpressive) sword. Pink, frill-less clones of him appear as enemies, each taking 5 hits to kill. They appear in pairs.



In addition to this, magma rocks fly at you from the top and side of the screen, and also bats (which inexplicably have Kermit's likeness added) fly down to aggravate you.



Farther along things get more difficult as the Pinkies are replaced by more monstrous versions. They take 10 hits to kills and are much more aggressive, though they move slower.



The last stretch of the level has no floor, requiring you to hop across on bricks. The inclusion of Beast Pinkies makes this frustrating, and the terrible collision detection doesn't help.




Next is a very, very large boss.

He punches and slams the walls, and you have to ascend upwards then jump to stab him in the eyes. This would be easy enough but bats have been added in abundance to keep you away from the top 2 steps.



As with the spider boss, he increases in speed as he comes closer to defeat.



Hard to beat without losing 1 or 2 lives, which is exactly what happened. Onto the final boss, who is revealed to be...



...Sam the Eagle!

But we appear too late to save Mrs. Piggy, who has been pushed from the top ledge into the fires below. A cutscene ensues, leading to the rather odd ending.





Kermit and Sam both mutate into Beast versions of themselves and the battle begins.



Sam is similar to the Beast Pinkies, although stronger and faster. He strikes with his talons, flies from one side of the screen to the other, and will sometimes block with his wings.





I can't remember exactly how many hits he takes to kill (somewhere around 30) but you'll know he's toast when this happens;





Then we get the ending.

That ending was pertty funny. Glad to seee pinkie make a return in some thing. Also the ending needs a luagh track easter egg for reasons.

I can hear the ending in their voices exactly.

This was goofy but it's great to see all these cool sprites. Goofy isn't so bad once you have production values!
