Caves are weird and freaky, especially tight/claustrophobic ones. What the hell could be down there? Who knows. I sure as fuck don't want to crawl on my hands and knees in a small-ass, rocky passage and then get stuck.
Grown men go down into caves, well-equipped, and return to the surface shitting themselves. Why? Sometimes they don't come back at all.
Discuss.

I saw a documentary once where this feller went in a cave, and pointed out some crabs that were walking around with visible parasites walking around on it and he was talking about them and getting super close, then the next episode he was really sick and had a high fever and I was all yeah no shit you dumbass

I've been to Carlsbad Caverns a couple times and it's really neat but I wouldn't want to be down there alone or anything.
Imagine if you were in a place like that totally alone and you can hear a storm above ground and the distant roar of thunder and all the shitty work-lights and stuff start flickering and there's weird echoes; it's 2spooky4me
