BAD:

Only one new bug line in the whole generation and it's another butterfly.
Only 70 new species; they totally counted megas as "new" pokemon it seems.

GOOD:

Like absolutely everything else. Those 70 species are crammed with some of the coolest shit they've done, honestly. The spooky tree pokemon is a grass/ghost that evolves from the soul of a dead child who got lost in the woods, then its speciality is getting people lost in the woods. It has a signature move that turns the opponent grass-type.

Its counterpart is a grass/ghost pumpkin whose signature move makes you a ghost type. Does that mean it literally kills pokemon?

Also that butterfly, while disappointing to be the only new bug, wound up being Pokemon #666.

Meaning i can enjoy charizard X without missing out on the adorable spritzee.
