*Screamers*
A man is plagued by a curse - horrifying images and loud piercing screams flash into his mind at random. He struggles to find a way to break the curse as these instances increase in frequency and intensity.
*Scrapbook*
Within the pages of a seemingly innocent photo album, there lies a dark secret.

I am here. Here in the bowels of this vast mechanism, chained for all time to this terrifying engine I have wrought. Now all symbols are broken down, all meaning is nullified, language disintegrates, the signifier and the signified crumbling away like Barthes' cigarette ashes. For this machine, this edifice, has but a single purpose; to maintain the life of the Author-God in perpetuity, never dying, never allowing alternate interpretation. Under the Author's vast yoke humanity has become a shiftless, grey mass of unidentifiable culturestuff, lovingly categorised into a thousand million wikis by the scribes of the future. Art is dead, produced everywhere in prepackaged form with canonicity marked on the box. The only media are plot summaries, shorn of all extraneous qualities that might mar the perfect simulation, scrutinised and picked apart by a million autist vultures. The bland men of the future think not, and consider not, passing the time by debating their arcane canons and continuities. They are not readers, not even literate, for reading ceased long ago, when the engine began. To give art its future, it was necessary to overthrow the dream: the life of the Author was at the cost of the death of the reader. My name is Joss, and I have made the Author immortal.

I haven't thought of a "clever twist" for it yet, but I wrote this down in my "ideas" section of my notepad app:
"The local slaughterhouse has been abandoned for years but there is something moving something alive in its dark, industrial, splattered depths. It is a site for terrifying rites of passage for adolescents and even those brave older folk who enter rarely wish to speak of their experience on the inside."

I've thought about writing a sequel to Heaven Sent.
It would have an apocalyptic feel to it, while still keeping the small, intimate focus of the original (the narrator never even leaves his house)

This is going to sound like paranoid tinfoil-hat shit and it's not even really creepypasta and I'm half-asleep but this story idea popped into my head: government/corporations hire/sponsor serial killers, terrorists, etc. who have secret alter-egos (like a dude who makes copies in an office secretly moonlights as a chainsaw murderer) to make news and keep the masses entertained so they'll be distracted from what's really happening in the world. Former sponsored killer is called back by his corporation to take down a list of other killers (something which is considered taboo in the industry) to pay a debt and in doing so becomes considered an actual threat and gets covered up and hunted down by the government.

This idea was the result of several different things, including a dream, music, and reading about UFOs.
Somewhere, maybe in the Pacfic Northwest, there is a town that was once a hub of commerce. It's on the coast, but the coastline is mostly steep cliffs. There is a lighthouse. The town is surrounded by dense forest for the most part. There are railways, but most have fallen into disuse and disrepair. It is very likely that the town is dying. It's name is Waypoint. It is wintertime.
One night, while most of the town is asleep, a couple residents see lights over the snowy forest. When they go to investigate, they notice the temperature in the woods is unusually high. There is a sudden, bright burst of bizarrely colored light from farther into the forest, followed by a massive heat wave. When the residents move further ahead, they notice a large, black, perfect sphere sitting in a smoking crater. The light from their flashlights seems to fall into it. It's a UFO. Or is it?
Things happen. Maybe government gets involved, maybe they don't. I'm not sure. But people from the town have an opportunity to see the sphere. Bad things happen to those who touch it. They die from awful sicknesses. Horrible, discolored lights come from the forest at night. Things start to appear. Warped creatures not of this world. People die and some try to escape the town. Others stay and try to discern what is happening. Some stay and worship it.
One of the people who first saw the sphere can't sleep. He's the main character. The lights are in his house every night. He saw everything on that first night but now he doesn't want to see anything. He's being stalked by some of the creatures. Whatever is in the craft begins communicating with the people. At first, their telepathic communication causes heads to explode. But they figure it out. The beings inside are pure energy, almost incomprehensible to humans. The sphere is a craft, but not in the traditional sense. It's like a pocket dimension for the transport of dangerous creatures or something. The fact that it's on Earth is a total fluke. It broke somehow. It moves by staying in one place and bending space and time around it. Anyway, stuff happens and at the end it "takes off" and everybody standing around it gets sucked inside and is either physically distorted so badly it kills them or they end up in the pocket dimension. The latter happens to the main character and he wakes up one morning back in his home and he's so fucked by what he saw in the dimension he gouges his eyes out. The end or something.
Less of a creepypasta and more of a full story.
