Aortas the fascists, High School bully trolls and other dickfaces always got run off pretty fast without my help, but the "rude" posters were also getting just wantonly rude to random targets and that needed to be reeled in for once. There's a time and place to be an asshole, like when someone else was an asshole first or it's really really REALLY funny. Competing to run off new people just for being weirdly enthusiastic, naive kids with sub-par artwork is silly when almost everybody started out as one of those anyway.
People evolve and mature on their own! Look at Dodo, who went from an enthusiastic kid to a bitter curmudgeon with only minimal help.
