www.bogleech.com/halloween/hall13-spooked.htmlHere is a giant interactive Halloween adventure I've been planning for a zillion years and working on for a zillion hours. I'd been meaning to do a thing like this for years. Just wanted to try something brand new instead of flash cartoons or comics. There are three endings and two side stories. When you are FULLY SPOOKED, the whole house changes and the parody monsters give way to original monsters, which is totally optional, but one ending is only unlocked if you complete the monster album by seeing 59 different monsters before the final boss.

Pretty fun, though i was confused at times at what was needed to progress, like with the blood doll.

That part was so cumbersome to make I probably shouldn't have bothered giving it so many possibilities, or maybe dropped a better hint that the "pus" addition is a bad thing.
I was originally going to include even more famous creepypasta monsters but I decided to just go with ones I actually liked, so no Jeff the Killer.

So do the bra and speedo from the dancing zombies actually do anything?

The bra is a shortcut that lets you skip Uzumaki. Dr. Breign really really likes it.
The zombie speedo can be traded to Brains and Guts in the foyer for Spook-O-Vision goggles, which become a new link allowing you to raise your spook level whenever you want, which is necessary if you want to complete the monster album but otherwise missed the ones who just appear when you're 1spooked and 2spooked.
Also, am doing another creepypasta write-off in December just like last year. May try adding a new side-world or something to this as a treat for that, but I dunno if I wanna run my new love of Twine into the ground just yet. I already feel obligated to outdo it heavily for next year.

Remembering so many nonsense video game puzzles (MAKE A DOOR HANDLE OUT OF THE WAX VOODOO DOLL) I tried my best to drop a lot of hints and for the item usage to make a reasonable amount of sense (though Cthulhu's might throw a lot of people off), but it's hard to judge what will be intuitive and what won't. 50% of people seem to breeze right through this but if someone else had made it, I'd probably have no idea what to do because I stink at these.
I guess that's how these things are destined to work out, really.

It took me fucking FOREVER to get Slenderman; I had no idea you could get the camera from the SCP guy.
It's a bit confusing that he and Dr. Breign are the only characters that you can get two items from.

I also wanted to compensate for almost never doing comics or flash cartoons anymore, with the cameos and shout-outs to both that I'm going to consider completely canon with them.
When you bring Dr. Breign the boob ghost's picture, he gives you a totally sweet snail you can give to uzumaki for something else, which you then bring back to Dr. Breign and he gives you a painting of a boat out of the trash. This is a very frightening thing to show Cthulhu.
And yeah, for only the second game or puzzle type thing I've ever made (counting "NAUSEA QUEST" weeks before) it was almost a breeze. There was just one instance where I wrecked a whole vital system because I accidentally capitalized a single letter "i" in 60 lines of code and it took a day to narrow that down.
As long as you keep really careful track of what commands you're using and where you're putting them, Twine is pretty awesome for making these and I recommend it if you've never tried it. It's extremely user friendly; everything is laid out pretty plain and simple.
To make a bare-bones choose your own adventure story, you only need to learn one set of brackets. Any word or phrase you put in them becomes a link to whatever page you gave that name, so you can just write "go to the [[HOUSE]] or [[BARN]]" and then write your "HOUSE" and "BARN" pages with whatever happens next.
Figuring out how to give it an inventory system, keep track of what you've seen and change things according to your progress was just a bit harder. There's still way more advanced stuff you can do with it that I didn't dare toy with yet. Some people have developed codes for having a health bar, weapons with ammunition, the works.
You could probably make a pretty funny Lucha adventure in twine.

Oh all you can do with her is get her picture when you decline to look, but her link never goes away like the others because I decided you should always be able to go back and see horrible boobs forever.

I got the standard ending back when I first replied. Once a I found a certain optional character I KNEW what the second ending was going to be.
The third ending (which I admit I abused the Guest Book for, I was initially afraid that running into something in the TRUE HOUSE was fatal and kept returning to the cat picture) confirmed the identity of the Nightmare Queen, which I had already suspected.
Nice game! Being aware of Bogleech, things you've said before, and some of the old stuff you had on the initial site made most of the puzzles pretty easy. I admit it took a solid hour or so to really start getting anywhere in the Evil World though.
