So I saw The Flaming Lips live last night and I don't know if anyone on here is a fan of them, but they opened with Look...The Sun Is Rising and even though it's a pretty tame song on the album it was one of the most intense concert openings I've ever experienced. This video doesn't even remotely do it justice, but it gives you an idea. It was in a pretty large arena and it was so fucking loud and noisy and the bass was so ridiculous and they had that giant, light-up wall behind them that kept flashing blue and red and there were strobe lights and it was total audio-video overload and it physically shook me up so badly I could still feel it for the next few songs. In short, it was awesome and they are totally worth seeing live.
Also I got a sweet shirt with the astronaut and dude-baby from this video on it:
