they are fucking shit and makes mtg look like a disappointment from modern masters all the way to the heroes/monster duel deck and next block.
slivers had 2 jobs and was on the top 3 of my list of stuff mtg should bring back and they failed so hard I wish I never wish for them to bring back anything old ever again.

I console myself by realizing that they already wore out the "snake-body one-arm" form through like 80 prior cards. New ones don't invalidate the old ones after all, I still don't have all the old ones yet.
I've also heard that these could just be bundles of smaller snake-slivers wrapping themselves up to form a big one, I can just barely buy this explanation.
I would think about building two decks and putting the old xenomorph-ish ones against the new predator-ish ones, except the old ones will grant combat bonuses to the new ones.

Yeah I posted on their boards just to suggest they might be little sliver clumps in armor plating to approximate a humanoid and one of their R&D guys said I was mostly correct.
However, I would have expected Slivers to have classier taste in crude humanoid exosuits. Maybe these are ghetto slivers.
On an unrelated note I always wanted them to try an all-underwater setting.

how to describe my feelings right now: "The set does something that's never done before except on another Future Sight card." oh god. ITS HAPPENING AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA allso will all hero cards be like vanguards, or just the ones from events, or all all herocards event only?
